Sandra Evoughlian is currently completing her MA in Art History at McGill University. Her thesis research focuses on nineteenth-century portraits of black middle-class sitters within the Notman Photographic Archives. Interested in questions around collective memory and co-creation, she has experience in public programming, including prior roles as an adult programs assistant at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and a lecture series coordinator at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. She has also worked as a curatorial assistant for two exhibitions of local institutional collections at McMaster Innovation Park, Hamilton.
