Andrea Courey, M Ed, is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, and university lecturer. In 1997, she started cooking and selling granola cereal out of her home kitchen to support her three children. Unable to secure financing, she bootstrapped to success. When she sold the company in 2015, Grandma Emily’s Granola products were selling from coast to coast. Her greatest challenges were still ahead as her daughter Chloe later fell ill with terminal cancer. Chloe crossed over in February 2016. She was 28. About six weeks after Chloe’s death, Andrea sat down to write her a letter and her world changed when Chloe answered back. This led to a meeting of two worlds: the left brain logical entrepreneur met the right brain intuitive who wants to be of service and help others see that we are so much more than we appear to be.
